Mannerist anamorphosis enters in earnest, by way of Jurgis Baltrušaitis. The Frazer triptych (1976–79, roughly 260 × 400 cm) was painted for the Sava Congress Centre in Belgrade and opened the 2019 SANU retrospective out of chronological order — the one break in an otherwise strictly sequential hang.
